May 2024 Luncheon

Are you certain that your organization will realize the expected benefits from your
initiatives?
As one of the most critical aspects of Strategy Execution, we will review the Benefits Realization
Management lifecycle and the most important and valuable process tools organizations can
readily utilize to decompose, analyze, plan, enable, realize, and sustain business benefits. Take
advantage of straightforward techniques to improve the effectiveness and outcomes of benefits
enablement, realization, and sustainment.
We will look at examples of tangible and intangible benefits and discuss how benefit measures
vary for different phases in the benefits realization lifecycle.
Specifically, we will review the Benefits Breakdown Structure, the Benefits Register, the Benefits
Realization Roadmap, example Benefits Realization Reporting, and requirements for Benefits
Transition and Sustainment. We will also discuss related risk factors and a few good references.
